This study examines the effect of performance appraisal systems on employee performance, with continuous feedback as a mediating variable among educators. This research adopts a quantitative explanatory approach using a cross-sectional design. Data were collected from 30 respondents using stratified purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that performance appraisal systems have a positive and significant influence on continuous feedback. Furthermore, continuous feedback significantly influences employee performance and serves as a partial mediating variable in the relationship between performance appraisal system and employee performance. The direct effect of performance appraisal system on performance is weaker compared to the indirect effect through continuous feedback. The study contributes to performance management literature by emphasizing the role of continuous feedback as a key mechanism linking performance appraisal systems and employee performance. Practically, the findings suggest that organizations should
integrate structured and continuous feedback into performance appraisal systems to enhance
employee performance.
