Abstract

This study examines the sustainability of Indonesia's manufacturing sector using the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) approach, encompassing economic, social, and environmental aspects. Through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR), the research identifies key challenges such as environmental impacts, social conflicts, and dependence on global markets. Conversely, strategic opportunities are found in eco-friendly technologies and waste management innovations, like converting used cooking oil into biodiesel. The analysis reveals that cross-sector collaboration via the Pentahelix model plays a crucial role in driving sustainable industrial transformation. These findings underscore the urgency of integrating sustainability to support national development and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
